1 1/2 cup sugar 3 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cup shortening 2 tsp vanilla
6 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp each - nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, pepper
1 cup pet milk
4-5 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts

confectionery sugar for icing
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar & shortening. Add beaten eggs, vanilla & pet milk.
Add all spices and flour slowly.
Stir in nuts

Roll into 1" balls & place on cookie sheet with parchment paper

Bake at 375º for 15 minutes

Blend confectionery sugar with milk; dip cooled cookies and place on drying rack.
