Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
loaf of French or Italian bread

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients to make a spread. Slice the loaf of bread down the middle. Spread each half with the spread. Wrap each half in foil and place in a preheated 350º oven for about 15 minutes or until melted. You can also bake the bread unwrapped. Just place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and put it directly under the broiler until bubbly. Slice into 2-inch pieces and serve warm.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I can't tell you how many times I have made this bread and people have asked for the recipe. It is so simple and delicious. You can make it ahead of time and bake it right before dinner. Sometimes I add a cup of grated mozzarella cheese to the spread ingredients and heat it up in an oven-proof crock. I then serve it warm with pita chips.
