1 cup light cream
1 cup sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Topping:
3 oz. pkg. raspberry jello
1 cup boiling water
15 oz. can blueberries or 2 cups fresh
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream and sugar in a saucepan; heat until just boiling. Remove from heat. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add to hot cream mixture. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Pour into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Refrigerate until firm. Topping: Dissolve raspberry jello in water; let cool down to room temperature. Add the blueberries. Pour over cream layer; refrigerate until firm.

Mom could never decide if this should be served with dinner or as a dessert. Any way you look at it, it is so creamy and refreshing. She always used fresh blueberries, even though the original recipe called for canned.
