1 cup sugar
1/3 cup boiling water
1 tsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups nuts, your choice

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, syrup, salt, cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the syrup spins a short thread. Remove from heat; add vanilla and nuts. Stir until nuts are coated and sugary. Turn out onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Separate the nuts, spreading them out to dry.
