1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 cups flour
3 bags of miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking soda and salt. Blend in flour. Shape into 1-inch balls and place in ungreased miniature muffin pans. Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Take them out of the oven and in the center of each one, gently press a miniature peanut butter cup. Let cool 10 minutes before removing them from the pans.

My daughter's friend Christian loves peanut butter cups, so when Mary found this recipe, she had to try it. They were amazing...like a dense packet of double peanut butter and chocolate. He loved them...and so did we. I liked the way they were made in the mini-muffin pans, instead of just being a flat cookie with a chocolate kiss in the center.
