I wonder if Mom was on a first-name basis with the Hy-Vee mean counter folks?

Directions:
Directions:
Have Hy-Vee fix 2 pork cubed steaks that weigh about 1.14 lbs. Roll each cubed steak in lots of flour and press it in the steak. Brown lightly in Crisco (make sure you don't overcook it or it will be tough). Season one side with pepper. Turn over when browned and season that side with salt. When steaks are browned, put on a paper plate. If there is excess grease in the pan, pour off. Add 1 can of cream of chicken soup to the skillet; stir it into the brown crunchy pieces in the skillet. Add 1/2 - 3/4 soup can of 2% milk and stir well. Put pork cubed steaks back in the skillet. Cover and cook over warm heat for 45 - 55 minutes. I sprinkled dried parsley over meat.

This is a classic Mom recipe...written in narrative form, I love that we can hear her voice in this!
