1 c wheat bran
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
1/2 c raisins
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 c milk
1/2 c molasses or honey
2 T oil
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together bran, flour, soda, baking powder
Then stir in raisins.
Set aside.
Blend milk, molasses, oil and egg
Add to dry ingredients

Spoon into greased muffin tins
Bake in preheated 400º oven for 15-20 minutes or until muffins pull away
from sides of cups
Cool on rack for ~ 5 minutes Remove from tins and continue cooling.

Dad liked them best when she also added 1/4 to 1/2 c chopped nuts.
