1 c warm water, 105-115 degrees
1/2 c butter, unsalted or margarine
1/2 c sugar
1 pkg active dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2-3 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl combine water, a tablespoon of sugar and yeast. Let yeast proof. Add egg , rest of sugar, butter, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead dough for 10 to 15 minutes. Add flour as needed. Place dough into a well oiled bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled in size. Punch dough down. Form into about 24 rolls. Place rolls on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise until doubled.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
