1/2 c shortening
2 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c applesauce, unsweetened
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1 c raisins
1/2 c pecans, chopped
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour bundt pan.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg to mixture. Add applesauce and blend well. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water. Add to mixture alternately with the dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until done. Cool in pan for 15 minutes and remove. Cool completely
