4 c. flour
1 tbs. Sugar
¼ tsp. Salt
1 ¾ c. Crisco
½ cup water
1 tbs. white Vinegar
1 large egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the Crisco until you get dough that resembles peas. Mix the water, vinegar and egg until well blended. Add to dough. The dough will be a little sticky. Form it into 4 patties and dust with flour. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before rolling out. Patties may be refrigerated for one week or frozen for up to 3 weeks.

Until my sister in law gave me this recipe, you wouldn’t want to be within a mile of the kitchen when I was making pies. I have never had a bad pie crust since.
