1 1/2 C Flour
1/4 Tsp Salt
3/4 C Butter (softened)
1/2 C Firmly packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg Yolk
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Egg White
1 C Finely Chopped Pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together Flour & Salt (set aside)
Cream together Butter & Brown Sugar- Mixing well.Blend in Egg Yolk and Vanilla.. Add Dry Ingredients. Mix well and chill for 1 hour for easier handling.

Shape dough in 1 inch in diameter. Dip in slightly beaten egg white, then roll in finely chopped pecans. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Press deep hole in center of Cookie with floured thimble or Finger.
After baking insert 1/2 red or green cherries or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Bake 375 Degrees 12-15 minutes..Remove Put on a wire rack to cool.
