1/2 cup shortening 1/2 tsp salt
2 (1 oz squares melted 2 tsp vanilla
unsweetened chocolate 2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2 eggs
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar sifted powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, granulated sugar, vanilla and eggs well. Add melted chocolate.
Add flour, baking powder and salt alternating with milk. Mix well
Add nuts. Chill at least 3 hours.
Roll into 1" balls. Roll in powdered sugar.

Placed on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake @ 350º for 15 minutes
