2 C Milk
1 C Sugar
4 Eggs, slightly beaten
2 C Whipping Cream
1-1/2 TBSP pure vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, sugar and eggs in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for about 15-20 minutes, or untul mixture thickens and coats a metal spoon (160º F). Remove from heat Stir in cream and vanilla. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.

After freezing, transfer to a plastic freezer container. Place in freezer to ripen for at least 3 hours before serving. Makes about 2 quarts.
