2 C Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
1/2 C Crisco
2/3 C Plain Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place all dry ingredients into a sifter and sift into a bowl. Cut the 1/2 C of Crisco into the dry ingredients then add milk all at once into the dry ingredients. Mix just until ingredients can be formed into a ball - no more as they will become heavy. Roll out onto a lightly floured cloth or dough board to approximately 1/2" - 1" thick. Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet touching each other. Bake at 450º for about 10-12 minutes.
