CAKE:
1 box yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
1/2 Cup 80 proof Bacardi Rum (dark)
3 Eggs
1/2 Cup Vegetable oil

Pecan Pieces (opional)

GLAZE:
1/2 C butter
1/4 C water
1 C sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cake:
Blend all of the above and pour into a bundt pan.
Bake at 325º for 1 hour.
**IF using pecans, pour into bundt pan before adding the cake mixture.

Glaze:
Combine glaze ingredients, bring to a boil, stirring at all times, (approx. 5-7 Minutes), until the color of molasses.

Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup (or more) of rum, stirring until incorporated.
with a knife, poke holes into the cake to allow glaze to soak into it. Drizzle the glaze over the cake. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
