1/4 butter
3 lbs. frying chicken, cut up
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
3 large carrots, grated
1 large garlic clove, minced
2 14 oz. cans saurkraut, drained
16 oz. tomato sauce
3 T. brown sugar
1/2 c. tawny port

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chicken in butter until almost cooked through. In pan drippings cook onion, carrot and garlic until tender. Stir in rest of ingredients. Turn into 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with chicken. Bake uncovered at 400º for 20 minutes, until top is crispy.
