2 lb. sausage, browned & drained

8 slices of bread-cubed

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

4 eggs

2½ c. milk

½ tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Put cubes bread in bottom of greased 8 x 10 pan. Put cheese over bread crumbs, then browned sausage over cheese. In blender beat eggs, milk and mustard. Pour on top of sausage. Refrigerate overnight. (See Personal Note below.) Pour on top and bake at 300º for 1½ hours.


Variation: 9 x 13 Casserole dish

2 c. cooked ham, chopped
12 slices of bread-cubed
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
¾ tsp. salt
6 eggs
3 c. milk
½ tsp. dry mustard

Before putting in oven mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup with ½ cup milk. I do not do this step – but most people do.
