4 tbsp. butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup flour
2 cups light cream
1 cup milk
1 lb. cooked medium shrimp
1 can Campbell's Cream of Tomato Soup
1/2 cup sherry or wine
1 tbsp. lemon juice
dash of Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the onion until soft. Add the paprika, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Add flour and stir until smooth. Stir in cream and milk and cook until thickened. Remove from the heat and pour into a blender. Add the shrimp and blend until smooth. Return to the saucepan. Add the tomato soup, sherry and lemon juice. Add Tabasco to taste. Heat until almost boiling and serve.

This recipe is just as good if you don't put everything in the blender and just follow the rest of the instructions. I don't think it would be considered a "bisque," but a delicious soup. The base ingredients, plus the cream of tomato soup, can be used to make other types of soups. You can add sliced mushrooms, when you are cooking the onions and have a great "cream of tomato-mushroom soup." Be creative, the possibilities are endless.
