1 c. broken pretzels (long, thin ones)
1 stick melted buttern or margarine
3 T. sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 sm. container of Cool Whip
1 15 oz. can pineapple tidbits (drained)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
2. Mix together broken pretzels, melted butter and 3 T. of sugar. Press down into a 6 1/2 x 10" (1 1/2 qt.) baking dish.
3. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes.
4. Set aside or put cooled dish in freezer for 10 or so minutes.
5. Mix softened cream cheese and 1/2 c. sugar. Spread onto cooled pretzel base.
6. Mix together 1 can of pineapple tidbits (drained) and Cool Whip. Spread this on top of cream cheese layer.
7. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
