1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1.5 sticks of melted butter
1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 (8 oz.) container sour cream
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. In a large bowl, combine thawed hash brown with 1/2 cup of the melted butter and all the remaining ingredients except the corn flakes and remaining melted butter.
3. Mix 1/4 cup melted butter and the crushed corn flakes together and sprinkle over top of the casserole.
4. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 1 hour. Serve hot.
