Sauce:
4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 lb chipped beef, coarsely shredded
1/4 c butter
1 to 2 cans sliced mushrooms
1/2 c flour
1 quart milk (4 cups)
pepper to taste

Scrambled Eggs:
16 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 c Pet milk
1/4 c butter, melted
mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Saute bacon. Remove pan from heat & add chipped beef, butter & 3/4 of mushrooms. Reserve remaining mushrooms for garnish. Mix well - sprinkle flour over bacon mixture. Gradually sir in milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly - set aside.
Combine eggs with salt & milk, scramble in butter.
Alternate 4 layers - two of eggs and two of sauce ending in sauce. Garnish with remaining mushrooms. Cover and bake for 1 hour @ 275º
Can be made the day before.
