Aunt Charlcye's Pumpkin Pie
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1 2/3 c. cream
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves

Pie Crust
3 c. flour
1 c. shortening/Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix until crumbly like peas.
Add 1/2 c. tap water
Form into 2 or 3 balls and roll out or freeze for another day.

Put pumpkin in large mixing bowl and add all the dry ingredients and the milk to the pumpkin and mix together with a spoon. Then add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Pour into a pie shell and bake in a pre-heated oven at 425 degrees for the first 15 minutes. Lower the temperature to 350 and bake 35 minutes or until knife blade inserted comes out clean.
