Ingredients: Mom's Macaroni
20 (or more if you like) slices American Cheese (and other cheeses if you like to mix it up) 1 large pkg. of a small size Macaroni Noodles 6 cups half and half milk 1/2 stick Margarine 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour salt to taste

Directions:Boil your macaroni noodles as directed. Adding a splash of oil to the water will help keep water from foaming up and boiling over. When noodles are finished cooking drain and pour into a 11 x 13 baking dish. While noodles are cooking prepare your sauce. In a large saucepan melt 1/2 stick margarine add approximately 2 Tbsp. of flour and stir till browned.. If it balls up I add a bit more margarine before adding milk. (Otherwise the milk mixture is lumpy.) Add a little milk at a time to your mixture stirring constantly. As milk heats, while stirring, add 1 or 2 slices of cheese at a time. When all of your cheese is melted into the milk pour over your noodles and stir. Bake until golden brown.
