1 pkg. yeast (active dry)
2 cups warm water
1.5 tsp. Salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
5 T shortening
3 cups flour
2-3 more cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in one cup water..
2. Mix the other cup of water, salt, sugar, and shortening. Stir until shortening melts. Beat in eggs.
3. Add 3 cups flour and then yeast. Add enough flour until batter is thick and pulls from the side of the bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.. (Per Carla:" I covered it with a damp towel and waxed paper or Saran Wrap ©"). DO NOT KNEAD. Can rise 45 minutes to an hour if necessary.
4. Cut off pieces and place in oiled pans. Bake in either 9 x 13 pan or muffin pans.
5. Bake at 400º F until brown.
