1 cut up chicken
1 each Mushroom and Chicken soup. ( I use healthy recipe soups)
1 envelope onion soup mix (I prefer Knorrs as it is less sodium)
1 cup rice ( I like Uncle Bens as it holds its shape better)
2 1/2 cans water

Directions:
Directions:
9x13 pan, greased. Oven 350.
Place rice on bottom of pan ( you can use more if you want).
Place chicken on rice.

Combine 3 soups and water together and mix well. Pour over chicken and rice covering all the chicken with the mixture.

Bake for 1 1/2- 2 hours until rice is tender.

My great aunt made this for us when we went to her home for dinner when we visited my Granny and Pop in Idaho. Granny also made it for us when it was just Bob and I visiting. It will make to evenings of meals and left over chicken and rice can be taken off the bone and bagged for the freezer. Makes a great soup at a later date.
