1/2 lb almond paste
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 egg white
1/2 cup almond slivers

Directions:
Directions:
Soften almond paste in your hand or food processor. Add and blend in powdered sugar; add egg white. Divide dough in half, roll each into 9 inch logs. Cut each log into 3/4 inch pieces and roll into balls. Roll dough in almond pieces and shape into crescents, Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Bake x 20 min at 300º. rest x 20 min. Place paper sheets on damp cloth and let cool, then remove cookies from sheets, Sprinkle powdered sugar on them or dip ends of crescents in melted chocolate of your choice.
