1 cup crushed pretzels
1/3 cup sugar
1 stick butter

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
20 oz crushed pineapple, drain very well
8 oz cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, stir in sugar. After blended somewhat, pour over pretzels. Stir to coat pretzels with sugar butter in 9 x 13 pan
Bake 400* 7 minutes.
stir to separate, so it does not become clumps.

With mixer mix cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add pineapple and mix again.
Fold in cool whip with spoon or whip.
Put in refrigerator.

Before serving put about 3/4 of the pretzel mixture in the cream cheese salad and put in serving bowl. Top with the remaining pretzel mixture.

I used pretzel flats, and would use about 1 1/2 to 2 cup crumbled.
