1 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
All the above softened to room temperature
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups sifted cake flour
1 or 2 tsp. vanilla extract


Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st 3 ingredients, creaming well. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well. Add flour slowly, stir until combined or beat on low speed. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a well greased 10" tube pan. Bake @ 325º for 1 hour and 15 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

Sour Cream can be substituted for Cream Cheese to make Sour Cream Pound Cake
