1 bag (12 oz) fresh or frozen cranberries
1 ¼ cup sugar
¾ cup water
1 large cooking apple, peeled and chopped (ie Granny Smith)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger (optional)
¼ tsp ground cloves (optional)
Cream Cheese
Cars Whole Wheat Crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Add cranberries, sugar, water, apple, and spices to a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Simmer until cranberries burst and sauce has reduced.
Set aside to cool.
Refrigerate overnight.
Spread cream cheese into dish.
Spoon cold cranberry mixture over cream cheese.
Serve with crackers.
