2 c sugar
1 c white corn syrup
1/2 c water
2 c peanuts, raw
2 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup and water to the soft ball stage. Add peanuts. Cook to the hard crack stage. Syrup should be golden brown. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and baking soda. Beat until no longer foaming. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet and spread thin. Cool completely then break into pieces. Best to use a candy thermometer.
