2 cups dark syrup
2 cups white sugar
8 tsp baking soda
dipping chocolate
Directions:
Directions:
Bring syrup and sugar to a boil over medium heat and cook to 300º on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda combining thoroughly. Pour into two foil lined 9x13 pans. Cool for one hour and break into pieces. Melt dipping chocolate in double boiler. Dip pieces into chocolate and set on wax paper, parchment, or foil to cool.
