4 eggs, beaten
1 large can pumpkin
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
2 cans evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together in order listed. Bake at 425 for 15 min. then 350 for 45 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Makes two large pies or three smaller.

Pie Pastry: (handed down from my mother)
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Mix together above and cut in 1 c. vegetable shortening (solid) until size of peas. Add 1 cup water. Roll out, cut in circle, place in pie pan and fill. Makes two.
