2 1/4 c flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2/3 c brown sugar, packed
2/3 c sugar
1/2 c unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs,large at room temperature
1 1/2 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Sift the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda into a medium bowl. In an electric mixer beat the sugars, butter and vanilla on high speed until light and fluffy, 3-5 minutes. On medium speed add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, about 1 minute. On low speed add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Use a rubber spatula to mix in the chocolate chips

Scoop dough onto prepared pans about 1 inch apart.

Bake until cookies are set in the center 8-10 minutes.Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes Transfer cookies to cooling racks to cool completely.
