1 lb. cooked crab meat

1 tsp. lemon juice

16 oz. pkg. cream cheese

1 medium onion, chopped

½ c. mayonnaise

1 celery rib, finely chopped

dash cayenne or Tabasco

salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Chop crab meat in a food processor or by hand. Add all remaining ingredients in double boiler and heat, stirring occasionally. Add crab meat and stir in mixture until warm. Serve warm or cold with crackers of French bread. This spread may also be served cold as a sandwich filling. Additional mayonnaise may be added if desired.
Makes 3 cups

*May add Worcestershire sauce to taste.
