3 to 5 lb. of Boneless Chuck Roast
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 garlic powder
1 pack of Lipton Mushroom Soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Roast, salt and pepper and garlic powder on both sides.
Sear on both sides in iron skillet well browned
Mix both soups together and add 1 soup can of water.
Pour soup mixture over roast.
Cook on 350 degrees for 3 hours covered
after 1 1/2 hours of cooking you may add some potatoes
and carrots.

This roast recipe was one of the first things I ever learned to cook from Barbara Toifel my mother in law.
Every time she fixed this Roast her menu was always the same. Roast, Rice and Gravy,
English Peas, Potato Salad and Dinner Rolls and Iced Tea. It was just delicious...
