1 bag dried "12 Beans"
water
ham
2 large onions, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. chili powder
1 clove garlic, chopped
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans. Place beans in a big kettle and cover with water to soak overnight. Drain and add 2 1/2 quarts of water and left over ham or small picnic ham. Simmer for 2 hours. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or until done. Add more water during the simmering process as needed
