1 c. uncooked brown rice
1 c. frozen whole kernel corn
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green or red pepper
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
4 strips of bacon
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Layer into 2 quart baking dish.
1. Place rice in bottom of dish.
2. Spread corn on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. Pour on one can of tomato sauce and 1/2 can of water.
4. Add onion and peppers.
5. Crumble raw ground beef or turkey on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
6. Pour on other can of tomato sauce and 1/4 can of water.
7. Cut bacon strips in half and place on top of casserole.

Cover and bake at 1 hour at 350º. Then remove cover and bake 30 minutes more.

Serves 4 - 6.
