1 package yellow cake mix
1 can (20oz.) crushed pineapple in syrup (undrained)
1 can (21oz.) cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, cut into thin slices

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 13x9x2 inch pan. Dump the entire can of crushed pineapple into the pan; spread evenly. Dump the can of pie filling on top and spread to layer. Dump the dry cake mix onto the pie filing and spread to layer evenly. Sprinkle with pecans over the cake mix. Put the slices of butter on top and bake for 48 - 53 minutes. Serve warm or cold

This is such an easy recipe and you can change up the ingredients. I like to use peaches and mangos on the bottom layer with strawberry pie filing. The combinations are endless...
