oil
1 onion (sliced into separated into 2 half cups)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 large can tomatoes
1 large can tomato sauce
dash of nutmeg, oregano and basil
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
salt and pepper
1 slice bread
1/3 cup pow'd milk (optional)
2 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. dried parsley

To make meatballs:
In large bowl, mix 1 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, shake of salt and pepper, slice of bread soaked and squeezed dry and torn into small crumbs, 1/2 onion chopped fine, 1/3 cup pow'd milk (optional), 2 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp. dried parsley, dash of nutmeg, oregano and basil and 1 tsp.salt.

To make sauce:
Saute oil, 1/2 onion (sliced), 1 clove garlic (minced). When transparent, add: 1 large can tomatoes,1 large can tomato sauce, dash of nutmeg, oregano and basil. When heated, add small meatballs (raw) and cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes. Check to make sure meatballs are cooked thoroughly - if not, cook a bit longer.
