1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup Crisco Oil
1 cup Crisco Shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
4 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
1 12-oz package chocolage chips
nuts (if desired)
4 cups flour

Sift dry ingredients together. Mix first six ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
