Package of wide egg noodles (wide or thin, your preference)
1 to 3 lb beef rump roast or round steak
Partially freeze so it is easy to slice very thin
2 tbsp Vegetable, canola, or corn oil
1 clove garlic minced or thru garlic press
1 large onion sliced thin
8 oz white mushrooms or baby bellas sliced thin
8 oz sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
cayenne pepper to taste (optional)

Bring salted water to boil.
Add noodles and cook as directed on package. Drain

Slice partially frozen meat very thin
In a large frying pan heat about 2 tbsp vegetable, canola or corn oil
Add garlic and onion, sauté till soft, but not brown
Add meat and brown till red is gone
Add sliced mushrooms and cook everything together about 3-4 minutes
Add salt, pepper, cayenne and sour cream
Mix well and cook on medium heat till cream is heated through
If mix looks too thick you can add a little milk, half & half or light cream so you can have some sauce for the noodles
Serve over noodles
