6 T. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 0z) package cream cheese at room temperature
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 T. lemon juice
1/4 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar, add flour and nuts. Set aside 1 c.of mixture for topping. Press remaining in bottom of 8X8 inch baking pan. Bake at 350º for 12 to 15 minutes.

Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth, add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over bottom crust, sprinkle with remaining 1 c. topping. Return to oven and bake 25 minutes more. Cool, then chill and cut into serving pieces.
