Ingredients:  
1 lb. hamburger
1 small onion or 2 cloves garlic
28oz can tomatoes - cut into small pieces
1-2 cubes beef bullion dissolved in 1 cup water
Any combination of following herbs/spices to taste
chili powder
thyme
parsley
cumin
seasoning salt
basil
Italian seasoning
Corn - frozen, canned or fresh
Cooked green or yellow beans (fresh is best)
Cooked noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the beef and onion/garlic. Remove fat.
Add tomatoes, bullion and any combination of herbs/spices (start adding slowly as flavors intensify as dish simmers).
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add corn, beans and noodles.
Mix together, heat through and serve.

"On Sunday nights, after a weekend of skiing, there was often a question of "What's for dinner"? By having a few staples and a large pot on hand, it was easy to put together "Cupboard". We named the concoction "Cupboard" because there were many varieties of this goulash-type meal. We would just open the refrigerator, cupboard and herb drawer to see what was there and proceed".
