4 large potatoes peeled and cubed
1 small onion - chopped , grated
dash of garlic salt
1 teaspoon of salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons margarine
4 cups 2 % milk
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese to spoon on top.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes and onions until tender.

Add other ingredients and warm. Be careful of boiling once the milk has been added.
