2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
5 beaten egg yolks
2 cup flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 can Angel flaked coconut

Icing:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, margarine, Crisco, vanilla and egg yolks. Add flour, buttermilk, soda, coconut, and pecans, then fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in three 9-inch pans at 350º for about 25 minutes.

Icing: Cream together cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla, and nuts. Spread between layers and on top of cooled cake.
