2 T vinegar
2 T sugar
2 tsp salt
4 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
2 sliced stalks celery

3 lbs beef brisket

Sauce ingredients
2 T butter
2 T flour
salt, pepper 1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 T drained horseradish
1 tsp mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except for sauce in heavy kettle and simmer 3 hours...or crock pot all day.

Sauce: mix 2 T butter and 2 T flour, melt and blend. Add 1 C stock, boil 1 mintues. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, horseradish and mustard.
