• 3 lbs. apples
• 2 cups flour
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup sugar
• 1½ sticks margarine, softened
• 2 tbsp. water
• ¾ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Take a casserole dish and butter the surface (Spray OK). Peel and slice the apples into large chunks into the dish. Combine sifted flour with sugar, softened margarine, salt, cinnamon, and half of brown sugar. Mix with hands until consistently crumbly. Pour mixture onto apples and smooth over top. Top with a little cinnamon and the rest of the brown sugar. Add the water to the top and place in the oven. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is crispy. Serve after cooled for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy!

After the family went apple picking we'd always wind up with about 10 extra pounds of apples. This uses 3 of them. I've eaten this countless times and I'll never get sick of it and you never will either!
