French Toast Bake Recipe

1 loaf sourdough (or other dense bread)
8 eggs
2c milk
1/2 c heavy cream
3/4 c sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
Topping:
1/2 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c cold butter, cut into pieces

The day before:
Cube the bread and place evenly in a greased 9x13 pan.
In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla. Pour evenly over bread.
Cover pan and refrigerate overnight.
Mix together flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter and mix until crumbly. Place in a zip lock bag and refrigerate overnight.

The next day:
When ready to bake, remove pan and zip lock bag from refrigerator.
Sprinkle crumbles over bread.
Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes to an hour.
