2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/8 tsp. turmeric
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
dash of cloves
dash of cinnamon
2 lbs. lean beef, cubed
1 can tomato sauce
4 small potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onions and cook until brown. Add salt, red pepper, cumin powder, garlic powder, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and tomato sauce. Add water and let cook until water evaporates. Add meat and cook until tender, then add the potatoes and cook about 30 minutes before dish is finished cooking. Serve over rice.

I also use shredded chicken and put it in the crockpot around 7:00 a.m. It is ready by 5:00 p.m. When I do this, I also add the potatoes in with everything else. Lynette
