2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz. beer
3 egg whites beaten until soft peaks form
oil to fry- about 1 pint

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in mixing bowl flour, salt, and beer and mix well, it will be fairly firm. Fold in beaten egg whites. This is very food coating for onion rings, raw squash (cut in hunks), raw green beans, green pepper rings, fish or shrimp. This batter will keep over several days in covered dish in refrigerator.
